Sambalpur: Samlei Project’s Main Entrance Road is Decorated

Sambalpur: The Samlei project will be inaugurated on the 27th. The city of Sambalpur is getting decorated for this. Mainly, the state government and the Sambalpur administration are involved in the beautification of the temple area. The state government has looked into how the public can have a better view of Sambalpur Devi Maa Samlei. The district administration is busy beautifying the city before the inauguration ceremony fades away. The stone walls of the entrance to the city are being painted. Similarly, the ring road, the entrance to Ma’am Samlei, is beautified with greenery. The development work has been taken over from the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation and the former division. Along with lights, and seating arrangements, beautiful flower trees are being planted in the middle of the road. Clearing of old and damaged trees and grasses between road dividers, various types of flower trees are being planted. Early in the morning, male and female workers are busy planting trees. It has been announced by SMC that the flower planting program will end soon. Being the main entrance to the temple, thousands of devotees from across the state and beyond come every day. Now Samlei Temple is being developed around the Samlei Yojana. So the main entrance is being beautified. However, garbage and defecation have already created bad smells and an unhealthy environment. Now SMC has improved the environment by constructing more than 10 toilets on the roadside. The complete external toilet is clogged even if it is not flushed. People are unable to use it because of the smell and uncleanness. Due to a lack of awareness, people also throw their household rubbish into the river. Ghats river is being polluted about which there is dissatisfaction. Even today, many families depend on the river for bathing. Therefore, it is demanded that development work should be done in Mahanadi Ghat instead of just cleaning the road.
