Covid campaign; joint venture of sambalpur and police administration to make public aware

The state government, including Sambalpur, is witnessing an increase in the outbreak of the Covid-19 Omicron variant in the state, the district administration and the police have launched a public awareness campaign. The Sambalpur Police and the Metropolitan Corporation’s executive squad are working together to educate the public about wearing masks and maintaining social distance. They warned that violations of the law would result in a fine from Friday. Awareness leaflets are also being distributed by the administration and everyone is being alerted. The awareness drive in Khetrajpur police station was attended by Sadar SDPO Pradeep Sahu, police officer Mamata Nayak, corporation executive officers, police, and corporation employees.
