Dadagiri on the Puri-Durg Express
Sambalpur: A passenger on the Puri-Durg Express train No. 18425 on Wednesday was seen slapping and punching another passenger. Another passenger tweeted a video of the incident and complained to the Sambalpur Zone Railway Manager via tweet. The video, uploaded on Twitter, shows a young man in a D-4 normal buggy come in, pulling off other passengers’ belongings and trying to sleep on the upper luggage rack. Another passenger protested and asked why he was going to sleep at the luggage rack, the man twisted the passenger hand. Not only that, he violently threatened and climbed up to sleep. The passengers told him to go and sit in his seat but he did not listen, and did the opposite.
After receiving a complaint in this regard, DRM Sambalpur forwarded it to DRM Khordha Road. Khordha road DRM returned to the court of Sambalpur DRM, claiming that the train had a TT of Sambalpur Division. What action did the Railways take? That is not known.
