Black Badges to Blood-Stained Rakhis
On August 13, students and staff at Vimsar began their protest by wearing black badges. By Friday, they had escalated their protest by stopping work and staging sit-ins. Several organizations, including the UG Student Union, JDA, and House Surgeon Association, participated in the protest. Their members, some of whom had bandages around their heads, marched in solidarity, underscoring the widespread anger and demand for justice.
