Ongoing Eviction Drive in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: The Sambalpur Municipal Corporation (SMC) is continuing its encroachment eviction drive across the city. Today, the Enforcement Department of SMC carried out an eviction operation in the Hirakud area. According to Enforcement Officer Sushant Kumar Sahu, similar eviction operations will soon take place in other parts of Sambalpur as well.
Shops Demolished Near School and Hospital
The eviction team targeted the area near a school and hospital in Hirakud. Officials removed nearly 41 unauthorized roadside shops during the operation.

Time Given for House Removal Near Vending Zone
Near the vending zone, an illegally constructed house was also identified. However, officials have given the occupants some time to vacate before it is removed.
