Incident at Sambalpur University
Sambalpur: A final-year female student from the Library Science department of Sambalpur University was brutally attacked on Wednesday in an attempted murder. Authorities rescued her in a severely injured condition near Metakani Temple on the VIP Road, which connects the university to Atal Chowk.
Rescue and Medical Treatment
Locals discovered the injured girl lying in a pool of blood about a few meters away from Metakani Temple around 5 PM. They immediately informed the Burla police, who rushed to the spot and took her to Vimsar (Burla Medical). Doctors are providing her treatment with oxygen support, and police have not yet recorded her statement.
