Gold Chain looters terrorize Sambalpur: 3 women chain loot in 2 hours
Sambalpur / Burla: Chain Looter again in Sambalpur. The gang was on Thursday Snatch the gold chain from the neck of 3 women from different location. The three incidents took place in Balerpada, Jhaduapada and Daleipada areas respectively. At around 6pm on Thursday, two women were on their way from Jyoti Bihar to the planetorium when two miscreants came in a blue Pulsar bike at Balerpada Square and pulled the gold chain around the neck and fled. During the robbery, the chain were torn off and some of them fell on the road, while the miscreants fled with rest part gold chain.
Similarly, at 6.50 pm, Kalyani Nanda, 62, of Nandapada, was walking with one of her friend, Brajeshwari, and standing on the ring road in front of the street in Jhaduapada Brahmapura temple. At this point, two young men were standing there holding a motorcycle. One of them came and pulled a gold chain weighing 1 kg from Kalyani’s neck and fled back towards Kacheri Square.
Exactly one hour after the incident at 7.50pm, Sanjukta Bishi, 58, of Daleipada, along with daughter Shweta Bishi, went to Ring Road area for an evening walk. Standing on the Ring Road behind the DIG’s residence, two miscreants from Kacheri Chowk came on a motorcycle and pulled a heavy gold chain from Sanjukta’s neck and fled towards Balibandha. The first incident has been reported to the Burla police station and the next two incidents to the town police station. Five days ago, the chain was snatched from the patient’s relatives from the back of a Burla hospital.
