The history of television with antennas or live broadcasts will go down in history. The closure of the country’s first and seventh Sambalpur Doordarshan Kendra in the state, which is on the verge of closure, will make it easier. The Sambalpur Doordarshan Kendra4 had a total of 36 employees, one of which was a program and the other a broadcasting department. Employees of the broadcasting (technical) department will be relocated after the transmission closes. Some will be put in the air and some will be sent elsewhere. Applications and regulations have also been issued to apply for the transfer of employees.

Reacting to this, Ramesh Bhoi, acting station director of Sambalpur Doordarshan Kendra, said the Doordarshan Kendra would not be closed. Only analog systems are being shut down across the country. But viewers can get free-service services. This means they can watch free television programs through the Setup app box. Transmitters will be closed. The authorities will decide on the whereabouts of the employees. “Our studio will remain as it is,” he said.
