IGNOU Begins Admission for January-2025 Academic Session; Fee Waiver for SC and ST Students
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started its admission process for the January-25 academic session. Candidates interested in undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, and certificate programs can apply until January 31. Dr. Suresh Kumar Tripathy, the Senior Regional Director of IGNOU, shared this information.
Free Admission for SC and ST Applicants
For general bachelor’s degree programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, the admission and re-registration fees are waived for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants. However, SC and ST students already receiving fee waivers from other sources are not eligible for this concession.

Newly Introduced Programs
From this session, IGNOU has introduced postgraduate and Bachelor of Science programs. Admission to these programs is also open.
