Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur to Host Country’s First NHRDN Chapter; 52nd Chapter of NHRDN Launched, Setting New Standards in Human Resources

Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur has proudly announced the launch of a new chapter of the National HRD Network (NHRDN) on its campus. This declaration was made during a special event organized in collaboration with NHRDN in New Delhi. Remarkably, this is the first such chapter established among all IIMs across India.

Significance of NHRDN Chapter

The NHRDN is a leading professional organization in the human resources domain. It plays a vital role in implementing human resource practices and policies across various industries. With three international chapters in Singapore, the Middle East, and Nepal, as well as nine student chapters, the newly established chapter at IIM Sambalpur becomes the 52nd chapter in the network.

Vision and Objectives

During the event, IIM Sambalpur Director, Professor Mahadev Jaiswal, emphasized the mission of the new chapter. He stated, “Our primary aim is to develop future human resource leaders. This chapter will help nurture visionary leadership aligned with contemporary HR strategies while fostering collaborative research opportunities.”

NHRDN Chairperson, Prem Singh, highlighted the chapter’s potential to strengthen HR practices. Arun Maira, a distinguished author and intellectual, graced the event as the chief guest.
