Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur to Introduce AI in Classrooms, Announced at 10th Foundation Day Celebration

Sambalpur: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has announced plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its classrooms, aiming to revolutionize the learning experience for students. This major development was revealed during the institute’s 10th foundation day celebrations on Monday, September 23, 2024.

During the event, IIM Sambalpur’s director, Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, stated that the introduction of AI in classrooms will lead to a transformative shift in how students gain knowledge. He also shared plans to organize a Women’s Empowerment Summit in February 2024, aligning with the goals of Viksit Bharat.

Prof. Jaiswal expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other contributors for their support in the growth of IIM Sambalpur.

Uday A Kaole, chairman and managing director of MCL, graced the celebration as the chief guest. Kaole praised IIM Sambalpur for its achievements and commended Prof. Jaiswal for his leadership.

Other notable speakers included Dr. Anurag Batra, who was a guest of honor. Nishita Baliarsingh, co-founder & CEO of Nexus Power; and Anindya Ghosh, associate partner at IBM.
