In the hope of the incumbent, the District Health Department; there has been no CDMO since March 15
The total area of Sambalpur district is 6,702 sq km. There are 1349 villages in the district and 138 gram panchayats. As of the 2011 census, Sambalpur district had a total population of 10,44,410. Of these, 7,33,021 are in rural areas and 3,11,389 are in urban areas. This population has also grown exponentially in the meantime. In Sambalpur, the health department has an important role to play in terms of population. But such an important health department is now empty.
As sambalpur is an important district and now the question arises how it would be running without the presence of the incumbent, the District Health Department. After the transfer of Dr. Shashi Bhushan Patel, Dr. Pankaj Patel was given the vital role. But a handful of months later, March 15 took a leave of absence.
Not only that, after taking leave, he applied for VRS. Although his VRS was not accepted, the Sambalpur District Health Department has been vacant since he took leave. At the Sambalpur District General Hospital due to some invisible conspiracies while such a situation is rumored to have arisen to date, there is no solution.
