Jamankira LAMPS MD under vigilance scanner in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: Odisha Vigilance conducted raid on properties associated with Managing Director of Jamankira Large Area Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society (LAMPS) in Sambalpur district on Friday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
The Managing Director of Jamankira LAMPS has been identified as Phanindra Sahu.
Reportedly, the vigilance conducted raid at five places including his residential single storeyed building located at Dhankauda in Sambalpur, rented house located at Dhanupali in Sambalpur, native village located at Jagannathpara, Jamankira, his father-in- law’s house located at Panchara under Bargaon police limits and his office of Sri Sahu located at Jamankira LAMPS.
Several important documents have been seized from Phanindra’s house during the raid.
Cash worth Rs 2,36,870, 2 plots, three Bolero, one Car and one 2-wheeler have been unearthed so far. Further investigation regarding the vigilance raid is underway, details awaited.
