Land purchase for Samlei scheme begins Sri Krishna Goshala, the administration bought private land @ 1.76 Crore
Sambalpur: The administration has taken another step towards implementing the Samlei scheme for the development of Ma Samaleshwari’s temple. 250 acres of land required for the project. The process of demolishing government land has begun in recent days. The purchase of private land has begun today. In the first phase, two private lands were purchased on Monday through the administration register.
The department bought 21 decimals of the nearby Sri Krishna Goshala and bought the house from its managing trustees Prabhas Agrawal and Mangaturam Agrawal for Rs 1.76 crore. The registration was completed at Prabhas’ house in Pirbaba Square. This includes all houses and land on 21 decimated land in the herd.
Ashok Senapati and Pradeep Kumar Dora were the public prosecutors in both the land acquisitions, while the entire process was carried out under the direct supervision of the district magistrate and the deputy district magistrate. However, the administration is taking the initiative to go to all established houses in the area to be demolished and buy land. The administration has said it will buy the severed houses and land in phases.
The house and land of Krishnapriya, the wife of the late Prabhakar Mohapatra, in front of the Samlei temple, were first bought on Monday evening. As Krishnapriya reached old age, the registration work at her house was completed. A check for a total of Rs 13 lakh 262 was given for 4 cents of land and houses.
