Sambalpur: In Sambalpur’s Durgapali area, late last night, two students from Burla were attacked and robbed of their mobile phones. The students were returning on their bike after dropping off a friend at Sambalpur railway station.
How the Incident Unfolded
As they arrived at the Bihari Pada area of Durgapali, two miscreants blocked their path by pulling their scooter in front of the students’ bike. The attackers used a sharp weapon to assault the students and broke their bike key during the scuffle. They then stole both their mobile phones before fleeing the scene.

Police Investigation
After the students filed a complaint, the Khetrajpur police registered a case and began investigating the matter. Despite a 24-hour police cabin being located not far from the crime scene, the miscreants managed to escape without being caught.
