Law and order is fail in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: The law and order situation in Sambalpur city has already deteriorated. We are not saying this because the complaints are being made in the police station and people are saying this. There is not a day in the city where there is no theft or robbery. Many incidents do not even come to the police station. On the basis of complaints coming to the police station, the situation of the city is getting worse. In the month of July, an average of 3 cases of theft or robbery are reported in Sambalpur city. Which has now become a cause of concern for the residents of the city. In the city, people are afraid to even leave their homes. Someone has stolen a mobile phone and the miscreants have escaped by removing the chain from someone’s neck. And someone say that he will see the future and looting the jewels. Such theft and looting happened in Sambalpur city in the month of July. Although the police manage to catch thieves and robbers in some cases; But it has not succeeded till date in preventing crime. People have complained that crime is increasing due to lack of proper patrolling. On the other hand, people say that police patrolling is only for petrol smuggling and demanded to look into it.

14 cases of theft have been registered in Ainthapali police station, while 7 cases of robbery and dacoity have been registered. 9 cases of theft have been registered in Burla police station, while 1 case of robbery has been registered. 18 theft cases and 4 robbery cases have been registered in Dhanupali police station. One case of theft and 2 cases of robbery have been registered in Hirakud police station. Similarly, 5 cases of theft and 2 cases of robbery have been registered in Khetrajpur police station. Similarly, 2 theft cases and one robbery case have been registered in Sadar Police Station, 9 theft cases and 7 robbery cases have been registered in Town Police Station. 58 cases of theft and 24 cases of robbery have been registered.
