Sambalpur: Local Residents Rescue a Young Man Drifting in Mahanadi Waters Near Durgapali
Sambalpur: Locals near Durgapali, under Khetrajpur police station, successfully rescued a young man who was drifting in the waters of the Mahanadi River. The man, who could not provide his exact identity, was discovered with injuries on his body and bleeding. Concerned residents informed social worker Chhatrapati Dr. Deepak Pandey of the situation.

Following the incident, they called an ambulance and informed the Khetrajpur police. The police arrived at the scene and immediately transported the injured youth to the hospital for treatment. According to police, the youth fell into the river while intoxicated. Several people helped with the rescue operation, including Mandi Pandey, Ravi Upadhyay, Har Behera, and Narottam Behera.
