Maa Samaleshwari in a white face, the devotee got the virtue of Ganga Darshan
Sambalpur: Jagatjanani has left the bright red color of the year and has a bright white color. On the occasion of Mahalaya, Devi Maa Samaleshwari, the presiding deity of Sambalpur, paid a visit to the devotees in white. On Wednesday, the mother’s face was completely white, with white flowers such as white lotus, white caterpillar, mulberry, tiger, and rhinoceros. Blessed are the innumerable devotees who have seen that white, very calm, cold, white form. This mother’s costume is also called Ganga and Saraswati costumes. Devotees from far and wide flocked to miss this rare sight of a mother coming once a year. Despite the intense heat and hustle and bustle, about 50,000 devotees from the early hours of Wednesday morning to 6:30 pm paid homage to this calm, compassionate costume of the mother and enjoyed the benefits of the Ganga darshan.
From midnight on Tuesday, the mother was dressed in white. Lohitavarna’s mother was given a white color by applying a mixture of various white products, including Shaikh, Gopi Tilak, Agur and Chandan. Worshipers adorned their mothers and performed special rituals and rituals. The temple doors were opened for the devotees at 9 a.m. after the morning prayers. Devotees lined up early Wednesday morning to get their first glimpse of the divine form of the mother. In the morning, there was a strong crowd around the temple. So this time due to the covid cut, a single line of view was arranged through the back door. The procession began at 9 a.m. and lasted until 6:30 p.m. Devotees were seen waiting patiently in line, even though the view was closed from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
