Sambalpur: A young man from Bhuindunguri area of Burla town has been arrested and sent to jail after setting his own house on fire. The accused, identified as Mahadev Sandha, was apprehended by Burla police following a complaint from his wife.

According to family members, Mahadev had a habit of constantly quarrelling at home. He often wasted food that had been prepared and reportedly abused and threatened to harm the children. His wife also alleged that he frequently issued death threats.
