New rules apply to Sambalpur University(ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ): The main gates of the university are closed on holiday

The clock is ticking after Professor Sanjeev Mittal, Chancellor of Sambalpur University(ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ), joined. Suddenly the Chancellor appears to have issued a new order from today. According to the new order, no one will be able to enter through the main gates of the university during public holidays. The next day, the main gate will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No one was allowed to enter the main gate this morning after the new order was issued. As a result, people living on university campuses have to face the inconvenience of not having one.

As there are hospitals, post offices, banks and ATMs, along with the homes of some retired employees on the university campus, people have to walk around through the second gate. Students living in university hostels also face difficulties. The main gate is not open even in case of an emergency. With the only medicine store in front of the main gate, children have a lot of trouble walking around. On the other hand, the deployed domestic security personnel are often the victims of public outrage as they have not been given any written permission.
