Investigation and Findings
On August 5, a team from the Pollution Control Board inspected the Sambalpur Dairy. During the inspection, the team discovered that the waste management plant at the facility was only partially operational. The company improperly processed the discharged waste, contaminating the cattle breeding farm.
The Pollution Control Board has now sought an explanation from OMFED for these lapses, emphasizing the importance of proper waste management practices.
