Online Sambalpur Team Wishes Happy Diwali 2023 to all
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the most joyous and vibrant celebrations in India. It’s a time when families come together to celebrate the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, signifies a fresh start and the triumph of positivity in our lives. This year Diwali will be celebrated on the 12th of November.
Diwali has several legends associated with it, but the most common one is the return of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. The people of Ayodhya celebrated their return by lighting oil lamps, which symbolized the victory of good over evil and the dispelling of darkness.
Another legend relates to the Goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of wealth and prosperity. It is believed that on Diwali night, she visits homes that are well-lit, clean, and welcoming, bringing good fortune and wealth.
