Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of Combined Higher Secondary Exam, Specialist (Group C) Vacancy. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & apply online.

• Total Vacancy: 324 posts
• Vacancies Reserved for Woman Candidates: 109 posts
• UR Candidates: 188 posts
• SEBC Candidates: 2 posts
• SC Candidates: 60 posts
• ST Candidates: 74 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for the Soil Conservation Extension Worker post must have completed +2 Science or a +2 Vocational course in an agriculture-related subject such as Crop Production (CP), Horticulture, or Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from a recognized board or institution. 

Age Limit (As on 01-01-2024):

• Minimum Age Limit : 21 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 38 Years
• Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process:

The selection will consist of three stages:

• Preliminary Examination
• Main Written Examination
• Certificate Verification

Important Notes:

There will be a penalty for incorrect answers in the multiple-choice questions: ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer with 4 options, 1/3 mark for questions with 3 options, and so on. A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the main examination and certificate verification, category-wise, equal to the number of vacancies.

Examination Fees:

There is no examination fee for any category of candidates.
