Sambalpur: A tragic road accident occurred in Burla, leading to the death of a student from Sambalpur University. Sahil Pradhan, a 24-year-old second-year postgraduate student from the Biotechnology Department, lost his life in the incident.
How the Accident Happened
Late last night, Sahil was returning to his hostel on his bike when he lost control and hit a tree. The impact caused him to be thrown off the bike, resulting in serious injuries. His friends rushed him to Burla Medical College for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Police Action and Investigation
The local police registered a case regarding the accident and took possession of the body. After completing the post-mortem, the body will be handed over to Sahil’s family.
About Sahil and His Family
Sahil was from Kurla village in Bargarh district. He was the only son of his parents and stayed in the Golden Jubilee Hostel while pursuing his studies at Sambalpur University.

The accident has left the university community in deep sorrow. The Vice-Chancellor and Registrar have expressed their condolences, and a somber atmosphere prevails among the students and faculty.
