Pradeep Sahu, new SMC Commissioner, Sambalpur took charge

Sambalpur : Pradeep Kumar Sahu has taken over as the new commissioner of Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation. On Thursday, he took over from Aniruddha Pradhan. Mr. Pradhan has been transferred as Registrar of the Uttaranchal Revenue Commissioner. Mr. Sahu was welcomed at the Metropolitan Corporation office on Thursday evening and Mr. Pradhan was given a farewell address. Speaking to media after taking over as commissioner, Mr Sahu said he would work with everyone for the overall development of the city of Sambalpur. “The biggest priority for the metropolitan corporation right now is to make the plan a success,” he said. In addition, efforts will be made to address flood problems with an emphasis on metropolitan sanitation and road reconstruction. Similarly, Mr. Sahu informed that there are plans to relocate the new building at Durgapali to the metropolitan corporation office before the end of 2021.
