Sambalpur: Preparations Begin for Sambalpuri Dhanu Yatra; Manuscript Worshipped at Maa Samaleswari Temple

Sambalpur: The Sambalpuri Dhanu Yatra, which began last year, aims to strengthen and establish the Sambalpuri language movement. Preparations for this year’s Dhanu Yatra have already started, as announced by the organizing committee. The event is scheduled to be held in Sambalpur from January 1 to 19 next year, according to editor Gunaranjan Salima.

Manuscript Worship at Maa Samaleswari Temple

Sanjay Babu, Chairman of the Samaleswari Temple Trust Board and Dhanu Yatra Organizing Committee, led the worship of the Sambalpuri Dhanu Yatra manuscript, authored by Babulu Bag, at Maa Samaleswari Temple today. During the ceremony, key attendees included Kamal Lochan Panda, the acting chairman; Gunaranjan Salima, the editor; Babulu Bag, the writer and director; and senior member and actor Surya Panigrahi.

Plans for a More Attractive Event

Sanjay Babu stated that this year’s Dhanu Yatra will be more engaging and appealing than last year. The writer, Babulu Bag, stated that this year’s manuscript contains several unique elements that promise an enhanced audience experience.

The manuscript worship ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities, including Yogesh Nanda, Souri Narayan Panigrahi, Shankar Behera, Lalit Bebarta, Lilima Bag, Surekha Sahu, Krushna Chandra Bag, Chaitanya Nayak, Anamol Das, Santosh Rayguru, Jayakrishna Behera, Ramdas Panda, Biplab Dansana, Shravan Pati, Ghunu Charan Padhi, and Kishor Dharei.

With dedicated efforts and meticulous planning, the Sambalpuri Dhanu Yatra is expected to create a lasting impact this year.
