Sambalpur: Professor Deepak Kumar Sahu Takes Charge as the New Vice-Chancellor of VSSUT

Sambalpur: Professor Deepak Kumar Sahu has officially taken charge as the new Vice-Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla.

Warm Welcome from University Officials

Today, several university officials welcomed Professor Sahu during a formal event. The outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bibhuti Bhushan Pati, along with IQAC Director Professor Sarat Kumar Swain, Registrar Pradeep Kumar Dang, Finance Officer Tularam Kalet, and senior faculty members like Professor Debadatta Mishra, Professor Jayadev Rana, Professor Sanjay Agrawal, and Professor Priyaranjan Mohapatra, attended the ceremony. They all extended their greetings and best wishes to the new Vice-Chancellor.

Traditional Rituals Before Taking Charge

Before assuming his responsibilities, Professor Sahu visited the statue of Lord Ganesha on the university premises. He offered garlands and prayers before proceeding to his office, where he officially took charge.

A Proud Moment for Odisha

Professor Sahu was born in Dhenkanal district. He expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Governor and Chancellor of the university for giving him this prestigious opportunity to serve as Vice-Chancellor in an esteemed institution in Odisha.
