Sambalpur: Saathi Charitable Trust Member Sriman Bhagat Celebrated Birthday in a Unique Way; Organized Blood Donation Camp to Honor Martyrs

Sambalpur: Sambalpur’s leading social organizations, Saathi Charitable Trust and Satyabhama Devi Welfare Trust, jointly organized a blood donation camp at Satyabhama Devi College in Bhubaneswar to honor the memory of the Pulwama martyrs. The event saw the presence of Bhubaneswar Central MLA, Ananta Narayan Jena, and retired IAS officer, S.P. Dash, who motivated and encouraged the blood donors. A total of 53 units of blood were collected during the camp.

Remembering the Pulwama Attack

On February 14, 2019, a deadly terrorist attack took place in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. A suicide bomber targeted a convoy of CRPF personnel, resulting in the tragic loss of 40 brave soldiers.

On this significant day, Saathi Charitable Trust member, Bhagat, set a remarkable example by celebrating his birthday in a meaningful way. Instead of a grand celebration, he actively participated in the blood donation camp, making his birthday a day of service and tribute.
