Sadbhavana passenger dies in Sambalpur
One of the 45 passengers on a bicycle ride from Maharashtra to Bangladesh has lost his life in a bid to spread the message of goodwill around the world. The deceased was identified as Albert Maryam Qureshi, of Maharashtra
Albert suddenly had chest pains. So he got off his bike and rested in the car that came with them. But as his chest pain increased, they took him to the Sambalpur District General Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified. The family said they would reach Sambalpur tomorrow. Other members of the group mourned the sudden death of one of their teammates. So for this reason Sadbhavana has not stopped the journey; Instead, five comrades stopped in Sambalpur and waited for Albert’s family. From here they will return to Ahmedabad with his body. Six other passengers left Ali on their way to Sambalpur.The body has been preserved in vimsar after autopsy.
Santosh Ramchandra Dhamadhyakari, one of the passengers, said they left Ahmedabad on the 2nd and entered Odisha from Chhattisgarh yesterday. They spent the night in Atabira last night and reached Sambalpur this morning. Comrades on their way to Sambalpur to visit the Hirakud Dam.
