Sambalpur: Sainik School Sambalpur Announces Walk-in-Interviews for TGT Posts

Sambalpur: Sainik School Sambalpur, under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is inviting eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the positions of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) on a temporary basis. The positions available include TGT (Social Science) and TGT (Hindi), with a consolidated fixed pay of ₹50,000 per month.

Details of the Vacancies

1. TGT (Social Science) – 02 Posts
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • A four-year integrated degree course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, or a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
     • B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
     • Proficiency in teaching in English.
     • Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 35 years of age as of 31st August 2024.
   • Desirable Qualifications:
     • Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
     • Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject.
     • Experience in teaching in a residential school, proficiency in games, and involvement in co-curricular activities.
2. TGT (Hindi) – 01 Post
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • Similar qualifications as TGT (Social Science) with Hindi as one of the subjects during graduation.
     • B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
     • Proficiency in teaching in English medium.
     • Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 35 years of age as of 31st August 2024.
   • Desirable Qualifications:
     • Same as above, with an emphasis on experience in teaching Hindi in residential schools.

• Venue: Sainik School Sambalpur
• Reporting Time: As per the schedule for Class Demonstration and Interview.

Candidates are required to bring their bio-data along with a recent passport-size photo and all relevant certificates/documents in original (in support of their qualifications/experience). Failure to provide the original documents will result in the cancellation of the candidature.
