Sambalpur: 1 Year to Sunapali Triple Murder Case; Main Accused Still at Large- Police Efforts Questioned
Sambalpur: It has been a year since the much-talked-about Sunapali triple murder case came to light. But even today, the main accused remains untraceable to the Sambalpur police. During this year, Sambalpur SP B Gangadhar and Dhanupali Police Station in-charge Anita Pradhan have been transferred elsewhere. The new SP Mukesh Bhamu and the new Dhanupali Police Station in-charge Ranjan Biswal have already taken charge. But even after the arrival of the new SP and police, the Sambalpur police could not reach Salman Ahmed alias Nurulla Khan, who is said to be the main accused in the murder.
After arresting his accomplice and the second accused in the murder case, Babu Khan alias Mohammad Muddashir Khan (25 years old), the police are sitting idle. People have seen the significant events happening in Sambalpur under the supervision of the new SP Mukesh Bhamu. This approach also brought Mukesh Bhamu into the limelight. Most people also like this approach. But in the case of the prime accused of the Sunapali murder, all approaches have failed so far.
On the one hand, the officer from the time of the murder case is no longer in Sambalpur, on the other hand, the new officers are saying that the murder case is not being taken seriously. After the involvement of new officers, it was said to be the biggest challenge to catch the main accused of this murder, which created chaos in the entire state. But even after a year, the police could not reach the accused. The public has started to question whether the police can catch the accused or do not want to catch them.
It is worth noting that Sazia Parveen (32) her son Abdul Rehman (9) and her daughter Humaira Taiba (7) were brutally killed by miscreants. The perpetrators then left after locking the house. The incident came to light after Sazia’s mother came to Sambalpur on May 12. Sazia of Sunapali, Sambalpur, who lost her husband less than a year ago, was living with her son Abdul and daughter Humaira. Salman was living on rent in Sazia’s house. Salman and his accomplice killed Sazia in a frenzy, then strangled her daughter in a rug and dress. After that, they locked the house and left.
From the preliminary investigation, the police said that Sazia’s mother came to Sambalpur from Chakradharpur on May 12 due to Sazia’s call, and the body was recovered from the locked house 4/5 days after the murder. As the main accused has not been caught, the real reason for the murder is still unclear.
