Sambalpur: 10 Battery Operated Vehicles (BOBs) were provided to Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation by MCL for garbage collection

Sambalpur: MCL has provided 10 Battery Operated Vehicles (BOB) to Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation for garbage collection. 45 lakh rupees have been spent on this. The vehicles are provided from CSR funds to promote environment-friendly cleaning campaigns. It will also help in women’s empowerment. SMC Commissioner Vedabhushan, and MCL General Manager (CIBIL/CSR) RK Panigrahi flagged off the launch.

Similarly, clothes have been given to the girls living in Phuljharan Ashram by MCL Jagruti Women’s Mandal. Its President Padmaja Singh, Vice President Sarita Patel, Rashmi Behura, and Anjudi Bapat were present on this occasion.
