Sambalpur: 11-year-old girl from Sambalpur taken to Mumbai for household chores was rescued

Sambalpur: An 11-year-old girl from Sambalpur’s Dhama area was taken to Mumbai by a woman near her house for work. There she gave the task of take care of her baby. For almost a year, the minor was living in Mumbai, holding her baby and doing household chore work. However, as the minor was not being fed properly, the minor left home last week.

The people there saw the minor and handed her over to Child Line. She was then brought to Sambalpur CWC. After questioning, the minor was handed over to her mother.
