Burla: 12-hour burla strike yesterday. Burla City was closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Except for emergency, urgent, and essential services everything else is closed for 12 hours today.

The people of Burla have been demanding a permanent lease for a long time, but the problem has not been resolved to date. Eviction continues in Burla town in the name of road widening. As a result, this has been stopped by the joint call of various political parties, social institutions, and business associations of Burla City.

However, as Western Odisha Vimsar became the soul center, People from other areas came for medical work. Not a single vehicle or auto was found after the Burla buses dumped passengers at Kirba and Golgunda.

When some bikes and four-wheelers came to medical centers and various private nursing homes, they were detained by the protestors. After being requested again and again, the agitator allowed them to go to the hospital.

Even if the patients who have been discharged today have not been able to reach home through any bus, then the rioters are generally prohibited from doing such an act. The relative of the patient said that it is not right to delay when the patient has already been announced to be released.
