Sambalpur: 1st prize to MCL in 3 categories

Sambalpur: In the Coal Minister’s Award Ceremony for the year 2021-22, Mahanadi Coalfield Limited has received the first prize in three categories for production, quality and safety. MCL Chairman OP Singh received the award from Union Minister of Coal and Mines Prahalad Joshi. MCL’s Karmic Director Keshav Rao and Director of Business Planning, Zoya Kumar Bora and Director of Education A.K Behura were present at the event held in New Delhi. Similarly, coal secretary Dr. A.K Jain, Coal India Chairman Pramod Agarwal was the chief guest. Similarly, MCL’s Basundhara field director Sanjay Jha, Hingula field director AK Swarnakar and Kanih field director KK Raul received the Coal Minister’s Award respectively. Chairman Mr. Singh credited and congratulated the entire team of MCL for this award. A total of 5 categories were awarded in this ceremony, while MCL won first place in 3 categories.
