Sambalpur: 22 hours later, Vssut students got up from the protest and the exam was shifted to July
BURLA: After a long 22-hour sit-in, Vssut students withdrew their protest. A total of 30 student delegates from Sambalpur Sadar Sub-District Magistrate Suryavanshi Peacock Development, under the chairmanship of Chancellor Prof. Banshidhar Majhi, all the deans and three students from each department took part in the discussion. Three suggestions were made to the students by the Visut authorities. After the discussion, the protesting students chose to postpone the exam until July, out of the three options. However, the third and fifth semesters of the students’ exams will be held offline in July, according to Vssut Chancellor Prof. Majhi.
The students stubbornly sat on the Vssut campus all night, demanding an online test. Persevering in their insistence, the students did not go for the exams. However, the students withdrew from the protest at 12 noon after the authorities moved the offline exam time to July after the discussion.
