Sambalpur: 22 women of the gang of female robbers who robbed in railway stations will be arraigned

Sambalpur: Gangs of female robbers targeted railway stations in Sambalpur. On Wednesday night, there was a buzz in Sambalpur city after the female robbery gang was exposed. Dhanupali Police and Sambalpur GRP Police on Thursday arraigned 22 women of this robbery gang. As bail was denied, 22 people were sent to women’s prison Niketan. After these 22 women came to the jail, the number of women’s prisoner Niketan has increased by 2 times. While 16 prisoners were there earlier, the number of prisoners has increased to 38 by adding these 22 people.

It is worth noting that this woman gang robbed people at Sambalpur City Station on Wednesday. However, while robbing the purse, a woman saw and shouted. Later, while the women of the gang were leaving in an auto, the victim of the robbery and her family chased them and arrested them in the sakhipara area. Dhanupali police reached the spot and arrested 11 women. Chilli spray, chlorofluorocarbon, chilli powder, knife and money were seized from them. On the other hand, Sambalpur RPF also chased the gang after the shouting near City Station and arrested 11 more women of the gang and handed them over to Sambalpur JRP police. 11 women were arraigned by JRP police on Thursday. Loot money was found from them. But the GRP said that the gold chain of a woman was not found.
