Sambalpur: A Communal Harmony Rally Organized by the administration on Monday for Peace among different communities
Sambalpur: The administration has started to restore peace in the city of Sambalpur, which has been in turmoil for a few days, and the people of different communities are continuing their efforts. A rally for peace was organized by the administration on Monday as the situation in the city gradually returned to normal. Various leaders and individuals from different communities participated in the rally and gave the message of peace. People were seen hugging each other with sweet, rose flowers. The rally started from Golebazaar and went to Peer Baba Street. A meeting was held.
Sambalpuri sarees could not have become world famous if they had only one colour, or one design. District Collector Ananya Das called upon the people of the city to stay together like Sambalpuri saree color. If you walk together, your love will grow, love will come back when you see each other, says SP B. Gangadhar. He said that this goodwill journey will be continued to remove fear from people’s minds and restore peace.
On this occasion, people of all faiths including Ex-MLA Raseshwari Panigarahi, Siddharth Das Sanjay Babu, Assistant SP Tapan Mohanty, Atko Kujurak were present and all the intellectuals expressed their opinions towards restoring peace in the city.
