Sambalpur: A man dies in road accident when RDC office bolero collides with him
Sambalpur: A Man was killed when a Balero used by the Secretary of Uttaranchal RDC collided with him tonight. Sambalpur Cuttack National Highway No. 55 near Dhanupali police station Mahabirpara this fatal accident happened on Friday at 11:30 pm. The deceased was Ranjit Mohapatra of Sambalpur’s Bhatra area. He was returning home to Dhanupali after work as usual on Friday. The speeding Bolero (OD 15U 3092) collide his bike (OR 15S 2426) in front of Dhanupali State Bank and hit a roadside stall. Then it turned upside down in the drain. Secretary, RDC(ND), Revenue, DM Department, Government of Odisha is mentioned in front of Balero lane. The driver escaped from the spot and the bystanders informed the Dhanupali police about the accident. Police arrived at the scene and rescued Ranjit in critical condition and took him to Sambalpur District Head Hospital (DHH). There the doctor declared him dead. Then there was a commotion in DHH. It is not clear whether the secretary of RDC was on the bolero at the time of the accident or not.
