Sambalpur: A Man Threatened to kill the Woman if she will not marry him

Sambalpur: A young woman from the Sadar police station area of Sambalpur received a call from an unknown number last week. The man asked her to love him. Even after she refused, the man did not leave her behind. He kept calling and pleading for love. Later asked to marry.

When the young woman refused, the man threatened to ‘marry me or I will kill you‘. In fear, the young woman informed her family about this. Even after the family forbade the man, he repeatedly threatened them. Finally, the young woman lodged a written complaint at Sambalpur Sadar police station. The police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident and arrested the accused Sonu Sahu alias Ashish (27) of the Dhanupali area on Tuesday. The accused will be arraigned on Wednesday.
