Sambalpur: A train accident at Rengali station has caused confusion _due to MOCK DRILL
A mock drill was held on Friday at Rengali station by the railway department on how to protect injured passengers during a train accident. Along with railways, NDRF, Odraff, RPF, Scouts and various social organizations were involved.
The Sambalpur-Haridwar train was involved in a train accident at Rengali Railway Station on Friday. Some passengers were seriously injured. Police and Railway department along with other officers were seen rescuing the injured people. The warning siren was also ringing.
The fire department was called to the scene and rescue workers were called to the scene. The injured are being treated at a temporary medical camp. More staff are being called in for backup. People also amazed at the sight.
Such a Mock Drill showed the duty of the various departments and how to come together in any accident and work fast and save the precious lives of the people. The general public also learns a lot from McDrill,” said Pradeep Kumar, DRM, Sambalpur.
Pradeep Kumar said that by doing so, even if the railway department was wrong, it could be rectified. So working together makes it easier, no matter how hard it is. The message was conveyed by the Mock Drill of the Railway Dept.
