Sambalpur: A week-long Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Amrit was held at Parmanpur on behalf of ISKCON Burla
On the occasion of the holy month of Kartik Panchuk, ISKCON Burla has organized a week-long Bhagwat Katha at Gopi Kishan Kalyan Mandap in Parmanpur in the evening from 21.11.23 to 27.11.23. In this program, Shripad Sandipani Muni Dasji gave a speech on the subject of Sri Ramakrishna’s childhood.
More than 800 devotees from Parmanpur, Vikampur, Nuamunda, Salepali, Tabla, Gambaripank, Pandari, Voimunda, Sikarpali, and Sersuan areas participated in this program. On Sunday evening, Harinam Sankirtan was conducted with Nagar Parikrama around the city. Bhagwat Gita and other religious books were distributed in the Bhagwat Katha program and at the end Prasad was distributed.
The program was held under the direct supervision of ISKCON Burla Chairman Shripad Amai Das. Shri Asit Krishna Das and Vijaya Sakha Das of ISKCON Burla and other devotees of the temple conducted the program and many dignitaries of the area contributed. The people of that area appreciated the efforts of ISKCON Burla to propagate this great religious program. Mr. Subrata Sadangi, Principal of Vedic International School, attended as the chief guest and encouraged everyone.
