Sambalpur: A worker died due to a pipe collapse

Maneshwar: A young man has died after a Shreeram Concrete Products home pipe fell in Sadar Thana Maneshwar area of ​​Sambalpur district. The deceased is Satya Mirdha (24) of Matikhai village of Maneshwar Block Batemur Panchayat. He was working in the said factory for 3 years and running the family. While his father is disabled, his younger brother lives at home. The entire family is devastated by the loss of Satya, the sole bread-earner. He was crushed under the home pipe while working in the factory on Sunday afternoon. At this time, he did not have a helmet on his body, nor was he wearing any type of safety equipment. He was rescued and brought to Sambalpur District Hospital. There the doctor declared him dead.

However, he is not alone, all the workers working in the factory have been working without safety equipment. After the incident, there was concern in the local area. After a complaint was made at the Sadar police station, the police registered a case against the owner and manager of Shreeram Pipe Factory and started investigating the incident.
