Sambalpur: According to the information of District Collector Ananya Das, the flyover will be inaugurated soon, but when will the rainwater drainage system be?

Sambalpur’s much awaited flyover to be inaugurated soon, Although it is not clear when the flyover will be inaugurated, Sambalpur District Collector Ananya Das gave a preview of its imminent inauguration a few days ago. The construction of this flyover started in the month of April 2016 l After long 6 years the work is completed and the inauguration is awaited l On the other hand the rainwater drainage system of the flyover has not been done to date l Which is going to become a curse for the people on a rainy day l When it rains the water falling from the flyover falls directly on the people which was planned to be used exclusively. But when the flyover was about to be inaugurated, no provision is made for the drainage of rainwater. Due to which there has been dissatisfaction in various quarters. Disputes have been going on since the day of construction of the flyover. Sometimes it is because of the delay in construction and sometimes because of the service road. It remains to be seen whether all the work will be formally completed and the flyover will be inaugurated. The flyover work has been completed. It is going to be inaugurated soon. But now there are some big gaps in the flyover. People are complaining that it will cause accidents. The gaps are so large that hands and feet are getting into them. People say that there is a high risk of accidents if the wheels of two vehicles fall in the said gap.
