Sambalpur: Accused asking to urinate abscond from the court premises after breaking the skylight of the toilet
Sambalpur: The accused in a murder case of 2001, Gulgula Khan of Kumbharpada was arrested by Sambalpur Town police station on Wednesday night. After the medical examination, the police took Gulgula to the Fast ADJ court for arraignment. However, Gulgula went inside the toilet of the court premises to urinate. The police were guarding the outside. Then Gulgula broke the skylight of the toilet. By the time the police officer found out, he had already fled away. After getting the information about this, the police of the town station went to different places to catch the accused. Around 9:30 pm, the accused Gulgula was arrested by the police near Pirbaba Chowk.
According to information, Gulgula Khan was an accused in a 2001 murder case. He was jailed for this and released on conditional bail in 2010. But as he did not appear as ordered by the court, there was a warrant in his name. So on Wednesday night, the town police arrested him. After the medical examination, the town police took Gulgula to court.
