Sambalpur: Administrative approval for master plan of 79 acres of land in Vimsar, will be sent to the government for approval
Burla: Vimsar got a lease of 79 acres of land on July 15 last year. A review meeting was held today in the room of RDC on the master plan prepared for the use of this land. In the meeting RDC Dr. Suresh Chandra Dalai, District Magistrate Ananya Das, Vimsar Director Prof. Lalit Meher, Chairperson Prof. Jayshree Dora, Superintendent Prof. Lalmohan Naik, Head of Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics Prof. Mamata Soren, SDO of Burla Department SK Mustak, the organization that prepared the master plan. Group Architect Taraprasad was the chief guest. In the meeting, Sri. Dhan presented the master plan of the proposed new institute, Nursing Dormitory, Pharmacist Dormitory, Playground, MCH Complex, and buildings for doctors and staff. The master plan was approved by the RDC and District Collector. The 79-acre land found in Vimsar is located between Central School-II and NAC College. As the road leading to this land is unpaved, it must be at least 40 feet wide. Therefore, the RDC has been directed to take steps to remove the encroachment in this area, and to take steps in this regard, Vimsar authorities informed. In the first phase, the construction of the wall of this 79-acre land will be done. The work will be started as per the master plan at the next time. Vimsar sources said that the tender process for the construction of the wall will be started soon.
