Sambalpur: After covid this year again National level Pallishree Mela has started in Sambalpur. Again, stalls of various handicrafts, from handicrafts to forest products, sit together. Organized by Ormas and Sambalpur district administration at PHD ground in Ainthapali, Sambalpur. Higher Education Minister Rohit Pujari was the chief guest and inaugurated the fair. He also inaugurated the DDU-GKY and Hockey World Cup themed stalls at the fair. The fair will continue till the 16th. The fair will run from 10 am to 10 pm every day. This year, including 10 food stalls, a total of 180 stalls have been established, Ormas Deputy CEO Shrimant Hota said. The stalls mainly have handicrafts, handicrafts, forest products etc. This year, various handicraft stalls have come from all the other districts of the state except Nayagara district. In a special place during the fair, bandha art is displayed. 10 stalls have been provided for bandha art exhibition. There are stalls of various items made of wood, sakai grass, teak, paddy, bamboo, terracotta, Sambalpari handicrafts, forest products, vegetables, spices, incense. Along with this, people can also enjoy new types of food in different food stalls.

Chief Development Officer Dilip Bala, Deputy District Collector Prabhas Dansena, DPM OLM Pushpashree Naik, MissionShakti DPC Niranjan Panda, DRDA Engineer Surya Bishwal were prominently present on the occasion of the inauguration on Wednesday.
