Sambalpur: After stealing the bag from the couple, the miscreants emptied their account
Kailas Chandra Verma and his wife Valsad of Ujjain were robbed while going to Puri in the Puri Express. The miscreants took the mobile phone with more than 50 thousand rupees from them. After he complained about this, the Railway Police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
According to the information, Kailas and his wife took a train from Ujjain to Puri on the 5th. After crossing the Sambalpur Khetrajpur railway station, Kailas’ wife noticed that his vanity bag was missing. The said bag contained Rs 9,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and various credit and debit cards from the Bank of Ujjain. Shortly after the bag was stolen, money started being deducted from his account. After someone stole the said bag, the money was withdrawn using the credit card in it. A total of Rs 50,000 was deducted from their account by making 6 transactions. Kailas immediately block his cards, so the miscreants could not withdraw any more money. On the other hand, both of them filed a written complaint at Puri JRP police station. However, after the complaint was sent from there, Sambalpur GRP police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
