Sambalpur: All Odisha Kabaddi Competition, Cuttack Team winner, Anamica club runner up
Sambalpur: Anamica Mahotsav-2024 has started by the Anamica club from Wednesday. A 2-day state-level Kabaddi competition organized under the auspices of the Mahotsav has ended on Thursday. A total of 16 teams participated in the competition. Anamika Club entered the final after defeating Samaleswari Youth Union in the first semi-final played on Thursday. The Cuttack team entered the final after defeating Nuapada in the second semi-final.
In the final match, the Cuttack team won by defeating Anamica Club by 28-43 points. Cuttack’s Rajesh Dehuri was adjudged the man of the match in the final match. Rahul Das of Anamica Club was awarded the best player of the tournament.
Dilip Sahu, Ramdas Panda, Rajesh Seth, Bhajan Taria, Subir Rai, Sumant Bagh, Prashant Seth, and Karthik Barik officiated the major games. Anamica Club President Sanjay Thakur, Vice President Dinesh Seth and Brahmananda Raut, General Secretary Rajesh Sahu, Co-Secretary Avinash Mitra, Santoshini Sahu, Games Secretary Ranjan Sath, Media Manager Badal Sendriya, Advisor Saroj Sahu, Ghan Patel, Banmali Seth, Swadhin Meher, Mahendra Meher, Anil Meher, Rahul Meher, Nilu Behera contributed to the major game management.
