Sambalpur: An all-party meeting was held in the District Collector’s conference room to prepare the list of zero-error voters under the chairmanship of District Collector Ananya Das. In the meeting, in the presence of leaders of various political parties, the polling booth name, location, and creation of new booths were discussed. If any voter has any data errors, they can apply for correction at the booth level officer or sub-district office between October 27 and December 12.
Apart from this, people can apply through the voter helpline app on mobile phones or on the website. Proposals have been received for 8 new booths in the Kuchinda constituency and 5 new booths in the Redhakhol constituency. Additional District Magistrate Ajambar Mohanty, Sadar Sub-Collector Prabhas Dansena, Redhakhol Sub-Collector Pavitra Behera, Kuchinda Sub-Collector Bibhuti Naik, Deputy Collector (Elections) Sushant Sahu were present.
